ACCA Programme Overview

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) programme is a globally recognised professional accounting qualification designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in accounting, finance, taxation, auditing, business law, and management.

The programme aims to develop competent and ethical finance professionals who are capable of meeting the demands of the global business environment. ACCA qualifications are widely respected by employers across various industries and provide excellent career opportunities in accounting, auditing, banking, finance, and business management.

The ACCA programme consists of several levels, covering both fundamental and strategic professional subjects. Students will gain a strong foundation in financial and management accounting before progressing to advanced topics such as strategic business leadership, advanced financial management, taxation, and audit and assurance.

Stanfort Academy prepares students for the ACCA examinations by providing the necessary academic guidance and support throughout the programme. However, students are fully responsible for their own ACCA membership registration, examination registration, and any related fees payable directly to ACCA.

Strategic Professional

    The Strategic Professional exams prepare students for future leadership positions. They develop the strategic vision using your unique blend of technical, ethical and professional skills. And you can specialise in areas that best suit your career ambitions.Students must complete both Essentials exams and choose two of the Options. These exams are: Essentials

Course Outcomes Certificate (issued by ACCA upon passing the examination)/ Stanfort Academy will issue completion certificate upon request at the end of the course.

Entry requirements

Minimum Age 18 years
Academic Qualification Academic qualificationObtained at least an overall pass in GCE O or A level with at least a C6 in Mathematics OR a Diploma in any field
Language Proficiency requirement A pass in Sec 2 level in English in home country OR completion of English Language Placement test with at least 40% marks in Stanfort Academy

Registering for External Examination (ACCA)

    It is the student’s responsibility to register for the External Exam in time. The school is not held responsible if the student registers late for exam and is not allowed to take the exam. INTERNAL ASSESSMENT MODE

The internal assessment mode will comprise the following assessment types.

  • MOCK-UP TEST / CLASS TEST

INTERNAL ASSESSMENT WEIGHTING

    The students are expected to take the Examination assessment component regardless of the mark attained in other components. No sitting examination will be graded as 'FAIL' for that specific module.

  • MOCK-UP TEST: 100%

    • The students must attain a cumulative passing mark of 50% by integrating the aforementioned components.

INTERNAL ASSESSMENT GRADING CRITERIA

  • Pass (P) – 50 and above
  • Fail (F) – 49 Marks and below

AWARD CRITERIA (ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATE UPON REQUEST)

  • No outstanding payment due
  • Maintain 75% of Attendance of the course duration
  • Completed ‘Evaluation Form’ to provide feedback
